Healthy Food with Snazzy Packaging

Here’s another project by Chinese designer Daizi Zheng who created the mobile phone powered by cola in our earlier story: this time a range of healthy snacks packaged to look like drugs and junk food, including these blueberries in a blister pack.

Cheese & Burger Society

This is so cool.

The Cheese & Burger Society is a website promoting Wisconsin cheese. It is a list of thirty awesome cheeseburgers and their recipes, each one described by Patrick Warburton.

You may also know Warburton as the voice of Brock Samson from the Venture Bros. series on Adult Swim.

Papa Cristo’s

PB220030

Papa Cristo’s makes some damn fine Greek food. If you get stuck on the 110 freeway while travelling through downtown, you might want to stop off and check it out. There’s a little market with specialty foods and a nice patio section that’s fenced off from the street.

Galco’s Soda Pop Shop

PB220007

I’ve been wanting to check out Galco’s Soda Pop Shop for a while. We finally got a chance to check it out and I was not disappointed.

Galco’s has an amazing variety of soda’s I’ve never seen anywhere else. There is a soda made from rose petals and one that is made with cucumbers. It’s actually quite good.

If you have the chance, take an hour and drive out to Highland Park. The address is 5702 York Blvd.

Coca-Cola Freestyle test locations in SoCal – Fast Food Maven – OCRegister.com

The Coca-Cola Freestyle (an automated interactive touch-screen soda foundation) is going to be available for testing at these SoCal locations

This almost beats the awesome interactive Coke vending kiosk I saw on Friday (can’t say where, sorry).
