Pocket protector still sold separately.

According to several Google employees familiar with the project who asked not to be named, the glasses will go on sale to the public by the end of the year. These people said they are expected “to cost around the price of current smartphones,” or $250 to $600.

BlackBerry Outage Linked to Massive Drop in Traffic Crashes

I’m sure it was just a coincidence.

I’ve noticed that there is a special social sphere for BlackBerry Messaging (BBM) users. These social groups tend to congregate around one another in an self-organizing pattern. They are usually technophobic luddites who enjoy deluding themselves into thinking they are riding in the carpool lane of the mobile Internet.

The only problem is that they are standing actually the “Cash Only” checkout line. It’s probably all the same people you see at the movie theater lobby waiting in line with a dozen other people to buy tickets from a human cashier when (not ten feet away) there are four automated touchscreen ticket kiosks just waiting to spit out passes for two adults and one child to see Cars 2 in theater five. Thank you, enjoy the movie.

A Message From Occupied Wall Street (Day Four) | OccupyWallSt.org

You know, I’d be happy to jump in on this if anyone wants to buy me a plane ticket to NYC.

This is the fourth communiqué from the 99 percent. We are occupying Wall Street.

On September 20th, 2011, we were awoken by police bullhorns around seven in the morning, they objected to us protecting ourselves from the rain. They told us that the tarps suspended above us had to be taken down. We held a General Assembly to determine how to respond. We decided that we would hold the tarps over ourselves and our possessions. The police ripped the plastic away from us. We then scrambled to protect our possessions, primarily the media equipment streaming our occupation to the world. The police were also mostly interested in our cameras, it seems like they don’t want you watching us.
