You know, I’d be happy to jump in on this if anyone wants to buy me a plane ticket to NYC.
This is the fourth communiqué from the 99 percent. We are occupying Wall Street.
On September 20th, 2011, we were awoken by police bullhorns around seven in the morning, they objected to us protecting ourselves from the rain. They told us that the tarps suspended above us had to be taken down. We held a General Assembly to determine how to respond. We decided that we would hold the tarps over ourselves and our possessions. The police ripped the plastic away from us. We then scrambled to protect our possessions, primarily the media equipment streaming our occupation to the world. The police were also mostly interested in our cameras, it seems like they don’t want you watching us.

Honestly, I haven’t been this excited about an artist… IN LIKE EFFING FOREVER.
You know when you just get bored with the music scene, because you’ve heard everything, and nothing new sounds good? I’d compare it to when I first started hearing Portishead’s Dummy singles. One time in particular, I remember flying home from Boston for Christmas break freshman year; my special lady friend picked me up at LAX. It was on KROQ as we left the airport.

Textbooks to Extol thr Virtues of Plastic Bags
As if it weren’t already weird enough. I didn’t realize this, but apparently the content of our children’s textbooks is up for sale to the highest bidder. The most recent sponsor is the lobbying group that serves the guys making all those plastic bags. They’ve successfully mandated the state to censor any discussion of the negative impact they have on the natural environment. But they’be gone a step further and manufactured language to extol the virtues of plastic bags so future school children will have a great example of the mockery we’ve made out of our legislative democracy.

Enough Already
What the @#*% is going on, now? Obviously the Brits aren’t going to keep calm and carry on. More like Guy Fawkes day in Tottenham. And now Berlusconi is indicting the ratings agencies? Does he really think that he can forestall any downgrades?
