Gran Turismo 5
Gran Turismo 5 is out. Be forewarned, there is a 133 MB patch to download right off the bat. It takes another two hours of watching “20 mins left” for the PS3 to actually install the patch. I’m going to assume that that is because the downloaded patch is actually a very large set of files that have been compressed to a very high degree to keep the patch size within reasonable tolerances; that figure being the 133 MB archive.
Anyway, this is the damage modelling we’ve been promised.

Enterprise Wardriving, by Google
You know, this picture makes me realize that the camera mount would make a really good spot to place a high gain antenna. If I were Google and I were doing this, I wouldn’t tell anyone about it either.
…the cars weren’t supposed to be collecting any of the data that passed over the networks…

Luxury Cars Continue to be Abandoned at Dubai Airport
You may recall an earlier post on people abandoning their cars at the airport as the left Dubai.
Well, it’s still happening. It’s quite possible that history will show this as one of the greatest examples of the excess and delusion of the past decade.
