Almost forgot! I shot 30 seconds of video of the Goleta Fire. Not much to see, except the enormous smoke cloud billowing a few hundred meters in front of the camera. It’s a notable shot simply because of our location and proximity to the smoke.

Sea Castle Apartment Building in Santa Monica
Here is a photo of the Sea Castle apartments in Santa Monica. The new Fontainbleu structure can be seen to its left and Shutters hotel is at the right edge of the frame.
